Welcome, Introductions, Meeting Details
President, Ben Opperman welcomed everyone to the April 8th, 2025, PTO Meeting.
Ben Opperman called the April 2025 OSE PTO meeting to order at 7:05 PM.

  • Motion to approve Mike Castro, Second Kecia Cropper, passed by all in attendance
Principal’s Report:
  • Principal’s Update
    • Completed the clover rebrand- All done by the students.  Incorporated rebrand into the logo.  Will push the rebrand and what the words mean and how they will be embodied at OSE.
    • Fundraising Date January 26th for next year: Working in partnership with APEX company

    • State testing started and will continue until May 16th
    • Family breakfast on Thursday (expecting approximately 300 people)

  • Open Position Descriptions developed for open roles on board
TREASURER REPORT – April 2025
Expense Changes:
  • Artist Visit – Paid $800 in addition to the grant.
  • Green Folders – Purchased 1,000 folders – paid $1,450.00
  • Family Breakfast – Paid $32.22

Old Business:
  • Garage and Shed Clean out
    • Holiday Shop clean out: Will donate at the family breakfast, then remaining items will be donated to One Dublin
    • Shed was cleaned up: Items were donated and cleaned up
    • Decided to keep the grill, it is in need of some cleaning (Tabled the decision to keep this until after the school year)
    • Found some damage to the floor, some concerns about the humidity level and grading around the shed.  Looking to determine what is possible to repair the shed, potentially propose a grant to cover the cost if a new shed is needed

  • Spring Flowers
    • Start date 4/1/2025
    • Online Store Closes 4/16/2025
    • Delivery Date 4/29/2025
  • Spirit Wear
    • Art contest complete – waiting to announce the leader
    • Will make the catalog smaller with the spring
  • School Supplies
    • All other grades have finalized the list besides Kindergarten, need the supply lists to finalize the order
