Welcome, Introductions, Meeting Details
President, Ben Opperman welcomed everyone to the January 9th, 2024 PTO Meeting.
Ben Opperman called the January 2024 OSE PTO meeting to order at 7:01 PM.

    • Motion amended from 754.08 to $1400

Updates:

• School Supplies:
  • Signed contract with the company from last year
  • Getting responses back from teachers
• PJ and Pancakes:
  • Planning to convert this event to a multicultural event (March 8th)

• Spring Flowers –
  • Flower sales March 5th
  • Online close March 19th
  • Delivery date is TBD
• Spirit Wear –
  • Doing student design sheet
  • Working on different ideas
• Restaurant Night –

• Thursday Jan. 11th this night at Bibibop
• March will be City BBQ

  • Will send out the forms around spring break

  • Just submitted new charter for next year
  • Olde Sawmill, Chapman, and Hopewell scouts (25 total)
  • Four 5th graders starting to wind down

• Staff Appreciation –
  • Two dates for dinners coming up in February
  • One night family fundraiser at City BBQ in Powell
  • Other night is undecided
  • Projecting budget challenges with remaining amount
• Family Game Night –
  • Feb 9th is the date of event @ 6:30
  • Planning for Tiger Woo to come to the event
  • Targeting a meeting next Monday
  • Flyers being updated, along with supplies being ordered
  • It will be at Davis with Pizza & Pop
