Welcome, Introductions, Meeting Details
President, Ben Opperman welcomed everyone to the April 11th, 2023 PTO Meeting.
Ben Opperman called the April 2023 OSE PTO meeting to order at 7:05 PM.
Attendance

Meeting Minutes Approval:

• Approval of March 2023 minutes
• No edits or revisions suggested
• Motion made by Mike Castro for approval of minutes
• 2nd by Kecia Cropper
• Motion approved no objections or abstentions

Principal’s Report:

Presidents Report:

• Open Position-Vice President (still open)
• Open Committee chairs for next year

New Business:

• Grant Request brought forward by Daniela Gilliam:  For Staff Appreciation $750, to use for teacher appreciation week and will pay for the final meal.
  • Grant was voted on an approved by all in attendance

  • Our pack has been a bit quiet this past month. We have a pack meeting on Thursday and a rocket launch event coming up later this month. Our final pack meeting is in May where all scouts are on track to earn their rank badges. We finish off the school year with our spring campout at Camp Lazarus near Delaware.

  • No other volunteers, will cancel the event if no volunteers

  • Ordered all material and set to arrive
  • 230 people anticipated to come
  • Cost came in under budget
