Mark your calendars for National Night Out August 7th from 6-8pm at Olde Sawmill Park.
National Night Out is a community-police awareness event. This is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police and community awareness. It is meant to increase awareness about police programs in communities, such as drug preventions, neighborhood watch and other anti-crime efforts.
There will be food, fun and entertainment thanks to the Olde Sawmill Civic Association, Target, The Columbus Police Dept, The Columbus Fire Dept, Teamwork Associates, Menchies, Columbus Flyers Discs Golf Club, Kroger, and Julie Asbury with KW Capital Partners.
Kona Ice & Seven Little Sliders will also be on site if you need to purchase a refreshing beverage or snack.
Bring your chairs, blankets, a picnic and come out and join us. There will be a sign up for volunteers to work the bounce houses if you could please donate a little bit of your time. Please be sure to clean up after yourselves afterwards. This is an all-volunteer event and we want to keep the park a safe and clean environment for all to enjoy.
