As a parent or guardian of an Olde Sawmill Elementary student, you are automatically a member of our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). We invite you to take an active role in helping us achieve our goals of creating connection opportunities for students and families, supporting teachers and staff as they support our students, and funding enrichment activities that enhance our students' academic lives.
Whether you’re a seasoned PTO member or a newcomer, your presence matters! Here's why:
Connect and Engage: PTO meetings are an excellent opportunity to connect with other parents, teachers, and school leaders. It’s a chance to build relationships, share ideas, and collaborate on initiatives that enhance our children’s educational experience.
Stay Informed: At the meeting, you’ll receive updates on upcoming events and school programs available to your student and family. You'll gain valuable insights into educational trends, district resources, and community opportunities.
Have a Voice: Your input matters! PTO meetings provide a platform for you to voice your opinions, ask questions, and contribute to decision-making. Your insights can shape our school’s direction.
If you’re unable to attend, don’t worry! You can still stay informed by viewing past meeting minutes below or visiting our facebook page. And remember, you’re always welcome to email us with any questions or suggestions.
