Note: NWEA (MAP) states that 50% of students meeting projected growth is evidence of teacher effectiveness.

 
Goal 2: Academic 
The percent of students who score at least average in the MAP instructional area of Numbers and Operations will increase 20%

Goal 3: Student Experience (Well-Rounded)
During the 2023-2024 school year, staff will teach all students the R-Factor curriculum through Town Halls and Connection Teams and through intentional and specific language between students and staff.

o Dublin City Schools Elementary Fall Harvest Celebration
 Costumes are welcome, not required, on Friday, October 27.
 Students should arrive to school in costume.
 Please consider the following with costume selection:
 Comfortable and allows for movement throughout the day
 No blood, weapons, masks, or scary items
 School-appropriate themes a.k.a “Rated G”...we have five
year-olds in our learning community
 Harvest Parties are scheduled from 2:50 - 3:30 on Friday,
October 27.
 Volunteers may arrive early and organize supplies in the
commons
 Staff will be available to assist volunteers
 There will not be a costume parade.

    • Members of the Dublin City Schools district leadership team are hitting the road and joining the principal of every school for a co-hosted Community Conversation. These Community Conversation events will be levy-focused, providing an opportunity to learn facts and ask questions about the upcoming levy and bond issue. Our school’s Community Conversation event will be Wednesday, September 20th @ 6:30 p.m. We welcome everyone to come and be a part of this informative session. Together, let's make our community stronger through open dialogue and shared knowledge. See you there!

Taxes and District Organization Renewal
We have filed Form 990-N (e-Postcard) for the 2022-2023 tax year. I have submitted all necessary paperwork central office.

  • School Supply Sale - Deposits totaling $320.00 for Words I Use, Planners, and Kg journal sales.
  • Membership Drive -  Deposits totaling $1400.00

Approval of 2023-2024 Budget 
 
Revenue Changes
We looked at several of our line items from last year that didn't make their total projected numbers and adjusted accordingly: Flower Sales, Restaurant Night, Celebration of Clovers, Kroger's Rewards, Membership Drive.
We have lost the following items as revenue: Holiday Shop, Amazon Smiles, We will be leaving Amazon Smiles listed as there may be one more deposit that we have not received yet.
Added to Revenue: Family Game Night, Columbus Blue Jacket Ticket Sales, and split School Store & School Supply into 2-line items.
 
Since we went from $24,250 in projected revenue from last year's budget to $18,850 we had to make the following adjustments for the Expenses.
 
Expense Changes
- Removed Enrichment program of $3000.00 and Bloomz Platform, Family Game Night (was moved to revenue)
- Lowered the following line items: Recognition, Principals Funds, Office Supplies, Shared Concessions
- Green Folders - cost has went up so we raised it to $600.00

- Office Supplies - purchased 2 new cash boxes that have combo locks since the ones being used in past years were broken or missing keys.

- Staff Appreciation - Welcome back meal for teachers and staff
- Green Folders - have been purchased and passed out

“We had an AMAZING field trip where students presented our service-learning project,

for Olde Sawmill's participation in service learning for the past 10 years. I am SO proud
of our student leaders!”
○ Staff Appreciation Week- thank you so much for all that you have already done to help
recognize and celebrate our amazing OSE staff!
