Committee Reports
Apex Glow Run Recap – Pretty fantastic all around. Teachers loved it kids loved it,
lessons for next year – better communication of prizes earned, better communication of
information that parent’s text out to potential supporters. $11,984.12 (budget was
$3,500) (+ $631 that is held for 30 days to cover any donations that don’t come through
this will be released after 30 days) was raised so far, report of $77 cash collected,
although no one is sure who collected that money – checking with the office to see if
they have seen it.
Game Night Recap – Lots of fun, ever kid won at least once! Miscommunication about
tables being set up, they were set up in cafeteria instead of gym. Less folks ordered
pizzas than in the past. Prizes were a big hit! Lots of prizes were donated.
Flower Sales – In progress
Teacher Appreciation – End of year teacher appreciation planning meeting tomorrow
evening, 3/10 @7pm.
Memorial Bricks – Katie and Jessica Wakely connected, still have some from last year.
Communication to come spring breakish time frame to parents to purchase. Reaching
out to Michael Gilliam to see about a company for printing on bricks.
School Supplies – Starting to pull together class lists from teachers
Other Committee Reports - None

Old Business – What kind of community events would people like to see next year?
Game night continuing, tailgating at a Scioto football game, movie night. Biggest
obstacle is always getting enough volunteers and organizing. Thought is in the fall is a
good time to capitalize on new year enthusiasm. Read Across America week could do a
book exchange, could do a write your own line story. Sports equipment sway –
beginning of sports season bring your items and exchange with others. Rent out
bowling alley. Rent out a roller rink. Gather for a hike, book a night hike.

New Business – Discussion of best way to communicate PTO news, in Olde Sawmill
weekly email, its own email, Facebook. More discussion to come.
