Call Meeting to Order– Katie Ayers at 7:02

Principal’s Report –
                  Upcoming Progress Reports
Caregiver Communication – explains how to access report, and what the remarks mean, and progress with new ELA material

                  Classroom Party Announcement
Volunteers to Commons at 3:30pm – Hard to hear around dismissal time, so new system is for all volunteers to come to commons at 3:30 to have a bit more calm surrounding dismissal time.
Title 1 Compact was distributed to community, feedback welcome at Jan. 13 PTO meeting
                  APEX Fundraiser Update
Will need to have parent volunteers for the Glow run event, this will be a day time event in February. Requesting
President’s Report –
Donation drive is going great! 57.8 lbs 1st week, 2nd run 173.5 totaling 231.3! Last delivery will be this Friday 12.12.25.
Ashley and Katie A. attended Nov. PTO meeting. Middle school programs pathways recently approved.
APEX – Character development and leadership skills, they will have a pep rally and work with kids in each classroom and will be a fundraiser that cumulates as a Glow party with DJ on Feb. 5th and Feb. 6th. You can give a flat donation or a per lap donation, kids will run laps and you can donate per lap. Donations are all electronic, communication will be coming from APEX. APEX has asked for parent volunteers to help clock the laps. Max is 42 laps.
 
Next round of grant requests will be discussed in January. No requests have come through so far.
A parent inquired about the possibility of providing childcare during Parent-Teacher Conferences, noting that it could help more parents attend in-person meetings. Mrs. Barley explained that staffing limitations make it difficult to offer childcare; however, virtual conference options are available for all parents.
