Cement your place in Olde Sawmill Elementary history by purchasing a commemorative brick! Attached is the flyer to order. Surprise your graduating 5th grader or your favorite staff member or student with a brick message especially for them! Want to remember an event? What better way to do it than supporting your school and commemorating it on a brick? Deadline to order is Friday, March 22, and the next opportunity to order will not be until Spring of 2020. Send checks (preferred) payable to OSE-PTO to the office in a sealed envelope with the words “Brick order” on the front. Thanks! ![]()

A message from Eric Fritchie:
5th grade parents, I will be putting together a 5th grade video for the end of the school year event. It is a montage of their years at Olde Sawmill Elementary, and we’re looking for your help with pictures of your kiddos. I’m looking for any school pictures and videos from their time at OSE (Kindergarten through 5th grade.) We only need school pictures, so no sports or vacation photos. You can email any pictures to ERICFRITCHIE@MAC.COM. JPEG for still pictures and .MOV for videos usually works the best for me, but send what you have and I’ll do my best to work with it. Please remember to tell me the name of your child. If you have a lot of pictures you can easily send them to me all at once using WETRANSFER.COM. It’s a file transfer service that allows you to upload and send up to 2 GB of pictures and videos for free. - Go to WeTransfer.com - Click on “Take Me To Free” button - Upload your pictures and videos - Send to my email address ERICFRITCHIE@MAC.COM - In the message section please tell me the name of your child. - Hit the “Transfer” button. This site doesn’t ask you to sign up. It’s very easy and user friendly. I’m hoping to start working on the video in April, so you have a month to collect your kids best pictures and videos from the last 6 years (or as long as you’ve been at OSE.) Field trips, holiday parties, Celebration of Clovers, family nights, I’ll take it all. Please email me if you have any questions, and send them as soon as you can. Thanks again, Eric Fritchie (Riley Fritchie’s dad) IMPORTANT DATES

Our school is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive through the Pint-Size Hero program. This program will introduce students to the importance of blood donation. Your student will have the opportunity to show leadership and help save lives by recruiting blood donors for our upcoming blood drive. You can support your student, our school and help save lives by donating blood, recruiting other donors or volunteering at the blood drive. To schedule your blood donation appointment, you can visit redcrossblood.org and use the following sponsor code: OldeSawmill. You can also call 1-800-RED-CROSS. If you completed the form your child brought home and returned it to the office, then you are all set. The blood drive will take place in the gym at OSE from 2:00pm -7:00pm on Tuesday, March 12. Thank you for your support and helping to save lives! |
